Husband, adventure enthusiast, & lover of espresso and great food.
Hi, I'm Ethan! I'm a destination wedding and elopement photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky with a passion for documenting our most treasured moments. I create timeless and natural images that evoke emotion, and I am dedicated to forming personal connections and friendships with my couple’s, providing them with a truly unforgettable and stress-free planning experience.
For my couples, I’m somewhere between a friend and a guide. Always professional, always on it, and always ready to serve with my whole heart. From the moment we start working together, I’m going to be in your corner - investing back into your story every chance I get. I understand that planning a wedding can be a hell of a ride, so through thick and thin, I’ll be there for you. More than just your photographer - I'll be a friend and the storyteller who’s 100% invested in your tale and how best to tell it.

MY MISSION
Putting my whole heart into serving others
The sole purpose of my creative journey is to be more than just a wedding photographer. I want to be fully there for my couples, guiding, cheering, adventuring. Someone who loves showing up for them - not out of duty, but out of desire.
I’m not one of those photographers who simply shows up, suggests a few stock poses, hammers the shutter and goes home. I want to share in the excitement of your marriage - your journey so far, and the hundreds of adventures yet to come. I want to create images that you’ll look back on years from now and lose yourself in the memory of every vivid emotion and moment. Images that make you want to shout at the world, “This is us! This is our story. And it’s the realest shit you’ve ever seen!”

HERE’S HOW mine BEGAN!
It all started with my love for adventure. I bought myself a cheap little camera to document my travels; it became my best friend on (and off!) the road.
When I realized that I could fuel my passion for photography and adventure with my love for serving others, it was a real lightbulb moment. I sold my first camera, broke my bank a little, and upgraded to a pro set-up. My journey in emotive wedding photography in Louisville began when my friend asked me to shoot her engagement. I was a little hesitant to shoot couples at first, so I showed up with a ‘let’s just get this over with’ attitude. An attitude I quickly abandoned 10 minutes in when I fell in love with the craft and joy of capturing the unique beauty of humanity’s, well, humanness :)
Now, I can’t get enough of adventure wedding photography in Kentucky and beyond. I live to serve couples across the US, capturing their stories and showing their unique connection to the world. I think love is a beautiful experience and something that deserves to be celebrated, nurtured, shared and - above all else - remembered.

As you can probably tell by now, I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker at heart! Though I’ve been around to many incredible places, my favorite local place to explore in Kentucky is Red River Gorge! I also love traveling to the mountains out on the West Coast; so far, my three favorite states are Colorado, Washington, and Alaska!
Another thing you should know about me, I love a good story! Games, movies, tv shows, where I can get them! I believe my passion for storytelling was stoked early on by some of my favorite hero’s journeys of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings (just to name a couple!) I have a little bit of a nerdy side - but I promise not to bust out my fan theories mid-hike!
My wife, Abby, and I got engaged in 2022 and eloped in Colorado in 2023! Together we have a German Short-Haired pointer named Juniper Belle. You can often find us searching for new local coffee shops we’ve not yet discovered, putting in a gym session, or hiking in the mountains. Together, we have some pretty awesome goals we aim to achieve together!
My inspiration for my work comes from two main sources: the awe-inspiring beauty of nature and being able to share incredible experiences with those I love and care for.
