Anyone who’s spent time in Cincinnati won’t be surprised to learn that when it comes to cities with beautiful, unique wedding venues, Cincinnati is one of the best! There are a few standouts that you’ll absolutely want to consider when you’re thinking about where to get married in Cincinnati. Here are 6 of the best, gorgeous Cincinnati wedding venues that’ll leave you speechless!
1. The Monastery At Mt. Adams
From its rich history to its breathtaking architecture, The Monastery at Mt. Adams might just be my favorite wedding venue in Cincinnati! The venue was first opened as an observatory in 1843 by President John Quincy Adams and has since been placed on the National List of Historic Structures. In 2016, the monastery’s magnificent chapel was reopened as one of Cincinnati’s most stunning wedding venues.
The beautifully restored chapel is the highlight though – for both couples and myself as a wedding photographer! Affectionately called the Romantic Ruins, the chapel is a perfect marriage of old and new – preserved exposed brick walls, lovingly restored ceiling medallions, 750-pound chandeliers and a locally crafted floor mosaic in the lobby.
The monastery sits on a hill overlooking one of the city’s most picturesque and historic neighborhoods, and its manicured courtyard is a perfect location for some excellent Cincinnati wedding photography. Plus, its gorgeous prep suites and luxurious couples’ Guest House will ensure that your wedding day is spent in comfort and style!
2. The Manor House
Located just outside Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio, The Manor House is a gorgeous, versatile wedding venue that offers an array of stunning indoor and outdoor settings for your wedding ceremony and reception! Whether you’re looking for an indoor wedding venue with stately porticos and stone fireplaces or a gorgeous outdoor wedding venue surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Manor House is sure to offer the perfect spot to hold the wedding of your dreams!
As a Cincinnati wedding photographer, my personal favorite ceremony location at the Manor House is the courtyard. If you’re looking for some absolutely beautiful vistas for outdoor wedding photography in Cincinnati, the courtyard at the Manor House is tough to beat! It offers a well-manicured and intimate atmosphere that will perfectly reflect the beauty and magic of your special day!
3. The Factory Events
Located in Northside, less than 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, The Factory is a rustic, industrial venue with an ideal mix of stunning, offbeat architecture and spacious interiors with floor to ceiling windows. Out of all the gorgeous wedding venues Cincinnati offers, The Factory takes first place as the most unique venue the city has to offer.
The Factory’s indoor space is perfect for couples on the hunt for non-traditional Cincinnati wedding venues: it is spacious and bright, and guaranteed to offer the perfect backdrop for some stunning photos! Just outside, you’ll find the Factory’s gorgeous courtyard with lush greenery that lines the walls of the courtyard, setting the stage for a beautiful ceremony. It even has a fire pit if s’mores are your thing!
4. Greenacres Foundation
Located on 600 magnificent acres in Indian Hill, just minutes from Cincinnati, Greenacres Foundation offers one of the most incredible outdoor wedding venues in Cincinnati. One thing you should know about me is that I love photographing weddings surrounded by natural beauty, and the stunning backdrop of forests and rolling hills definitely makes for a beautiful location for those couples looking for a Cincinnati wedding in nature!
A beautifully restored English Norman style manor, Greenacres features formal gardens where wedding ceremonies are held, with an option for your reception to be under their 8000 sq. foot grand tent, surrounded by rustic fountains and rich greenery. Guests will have access to a cozy salon inside the European-style manor house as well as the amazing terrace outside, where they can take in the breathtaking natural views of the forests that surround the property. Greenacres Foundation might just be a stone’s throw away from the big city, but you’ll feel like you’ve traveled to another world entirely!
5. Mojave East
Only 10 miles east of Cincinnati, Mojave East brings modern industrial vibes with SoCal chic style. With dramatic interiors flooded with light, cinder-block walls, modern chandeliers and 18-foot-high exposed beam ceilings, the wedding photography opportunities here are endless!
Outside, you’ll find a rustic desert feel that you and your guests will never forget. Landscaped with plants, sconce lighting and natural wood benches, the large outdoor ceremony space blends perfectly with the interiors in its gorgeous simplicity.
Mojave East blends laid-back chic with the tranquil beauty of the California desert to create a one-of-a-kind wedding venue perfect for the adventurous couple looking for something off the beaten path.
6. Ault Park Pavilion
Located in one of the city’s finest parks, Ault Park Pavilion is hands-down one of the very best Cincinnati wedding venues with a view. Overlooking the park’s majestic overlooks, courtyards and isolated coves, Ault Park Pavilion is perfect for couples looking to hold a wedding ceremony surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty that Cincinnati has to offer.
With absolutely unbeatable views, the Ault Park Pavilion is surrounded by lush gardens, elegant courtyards, and even offers views of Cincinnati from atop the pavilion!
