I absolutely loved my day as Taylor and Noah’s Kentucky wedding photographer, documenting all the heartwarming and emotional moments at Silo Farms Wedding Venue in Taylorsville!
I had the amazing opportunity to get to know Taylor and Noah and to build an incredible friendship with them over the course of last year. When we first met on Zoom for their discovery call, we instantly clicked and began to create a perfect vision for them and their wedding day. At the end of that call, I couldn’t wait for August 7th, 2022 to come, I knew it was going to be amazing!
The day did not disappoint when it finally came!
I started out the day meeting up with Noah and all the boys in the morning. It was a beautiful sunny day and they were all hyped up and ready for the day’s festivities! Noah and the majority of his groomsmen played college football together, so the groom suite became a pregame college locker room for a day!
After spending a little time getting to know all the guys, Noah and I went over to one of the large, beautiful windows Silo Farms is known for. I spent a few minutes capturing Noah’s prep alongside Matthew Kennedy Media, the talented videographer for the day! About 15 minutes of prep, we got all the boys back together and took them outside for a handful of groomsmen party portraits!
After some groomsmen portraits, we tucked the guys away just in time as the bride and her girls pulled up to the venue! Once they got settled in, Taylor passed a mini bottle of champagne to each of her bridesmaids (while keeping a large bottle for herself) for a grand champagne pop! Taylor shook the bottle as hard as she could, then POP! Curiosity overcame Taylor and she looked right into the spray of champagne! This became the joke of the day, and the photo from this moment is LEGENDARY!
A stray pop up storm blew the sunny day away for a while, so we were forced to capture the remaining of the bride’s portraits indoors. During this time, we captured images of Taylor with her stunning dress from The Wedding Studio in Louisville, Kentucky, some bridal party portraits with all her beautiful bridesmaids, and all the precious moments during her emotional first look with her father!
With one hour before the ceremony to spare, the storm finally let up and the sun broke through the clouds! Taylor and Noah’s wedding ceremony at Silo Farms was beautiful, I loved documenting all the little moments they shared with each other at the altar, and all the reactions of the ones who gathered that day to participate in the celebration of their marriage!
After the heart-gripping ceremony, I took the couple a little ways away from the big crowd so they could savor the just married high and soak up everything they were feeling. I loved capturing all of the little looks they gave each other, you can probably feel the passion these two have for each other just by looking at the images from their Silo Farms Kentucky wedding gallery!
After the portraits, the real party began! Taylor and Noah danced the night away, celebrating their love with all of their closest friends and family.
The whole day was filled with love, joy, and heart-warming emotions. What a time it was being Taylor and Noah’s Kentucky wedding photographer for their Silo Farms Wedding! Because of them, August 7th, 2022 will be a day I’ll never forget!
